Exercise In A Hypermobile Body- My Three Tips

If I wanted to become more comfortable exercising without injuring myself in a hypermobile body, I would do these three things.

1. Take the Pilates for Hypermobility Course! It teaches you how to better position your body during exercise to help avoid injuries, flares and subluxations. It also strengthens muscles to support lax tissues, improves posture, and teaches joint awareness and proper range of motion. It’s individualized yet at a group rate, making it most affordable.
2. Take regular private 1:1 Pilates/Movement Therapy sessions. This can individualize the work even more than the small group in the course. There are nuances to every body and 1:1’s are the most efficient way to get a lot covered, but it is more expensive than the course.

3. Commit to regular Pilates whether private 1:1 or small group, to continue strengthening and learning how to better care for my hypermobile body.
