Welcome!

I’m so glad you’re here. Pilates Movement Therapy is a wonderful complement to physical therapy and other bodywork like acupuncture, chiropractic and other healing work. Bodywork can help us with our pain and discomfort but often times it is habitual postural patterns that bring us back into the pain pattern again and again. Pilates Movement Therapy empowers you to live differently in your body, finding ideal posture and help avoid going back into the positions that caused pain in the first place. It can also be a wonderful tool for recovery post surgery, chronic pain, conditions like EDS/Hypermobility, back pain, neck pain SI issues, plantar fasciitis, prenatal and postpartum, and many more. I can work closely with your healthcare provider or bodywork provider to ensure we are moving forward on the same page and making recovery more efficient.

You can get started by filling out the new client form at the ‘get started’ button below. And sign up for my newsletter to stay in touch! It starts with a couple welcome emails with an introduction to the work I do, offers discounts and then only occasional updates from there on out!

Mandee is such a life changer. I lived with chronic pain for over a decade and I tried everything, she was what really changed things for me. This is like PT on steroids. Mandee really retrains you to use your body in a holistic and gentle way by teaching body awareness, posture, and stability. I send her all of my patients!! So grateful for Mandee.

I started private sessions with Mandee during a slow recovery from a car accident, and immediately felt better after the first session. She was able to quickly identify my body’s misalignments through her postural assessment, and then gave me a specific series of movements and exercises to get my body into a more correct alignment. Before I went to her, I had been doing exercises recommended by my PT, but didn’t feel that my pain was improved by it, and I wasn’t getting stronger or getting to the point where I could start adding much resistance into my routine. Mandee’s customized approach was the missing element in my recovery, which starts all the way back at the basic fundamental level of proper body mechanics and alignment. I realized that without attending to this piece first, the structural imbalance in my body was hindering my recovery and making it harder to heal. I also became aware that many or most of us have at least minor imbalances in our posture and alignment that we don’t even realize until an injury occurs (or a chronic pain from the poor posture develops!). Now that my hips and shoulders can move the way they were designed to (in their sockets and with correct range of motion, etc.), my pain is lessened, my body can focus on healing. I am getting a detailed summary of each session through email, with customized cueing and other tips to help me remember what we did, so that I can do the movements correctly on my own in-between sessions or remember any modifications she may have given me for a certain movement. I plan to continue to see her for several more sessions, until I get to a point where I can manage with a maintenance routine with her on-demand library of focused movement sessions, or the live classes. It is night and day to how I feel now, and anytime I feel something creeping back into play, I can go back to her basic reset in the on-demand videos or refer to my “homework emails”, which also include custom-selected links to any of the on-demand videos that specifically correct whatever imbalances I have, which changes over time as the alignment issues evolve.I continue to be grateful for Mandee’s passionate dedication to this unique approach and her ability to guide me in this personalized, amazingly effective journey toward wellbeing. As a health care professional, as well as someone experiencing this success firsthand, it is my hope that this concept of “movement therapy” will become more recognized in the rehab world, as I fully believe this is a game changer. Not only do I recommend Mandee’s program to anyone suffering from an injury/accident, but to anyone who wants to improve their wellbeing from a holistic, whole-body approach
