Referred for Hypermobility Support? What to Expect from Pilates for hypermobility
Hey there,
If you’re reading this, we’ve likely connected in some way about EDS and/or Hypermobility. Whether we met at a local wellness event, your provider recommended you get in touch, or you were persistently googling for online resources, you’re here, and I’m so thankful!
The Pilates for Hypermobility course has truly been a game changer for so many people over the past four years. What makes this course different is how it balances being accessible and deeply impactful by giving you personalized guidance within a small group setting. A small group online course keeps it affordable while also covering far more of the foundations than we could in a private session, but the goal is to always make it feel like you’re getting the 1:1 attention you deserve and literally need as a hypermobile human.
That’s why the structure of PFH is so intentional: Three times per year, we offer Pilates For Hypermobility: a container of interactive Zoom sessions where questions and troubleshooting are built in, open communication with me throughout the course even outside class times (especially great if your schedule conflicts with scheduled classes), and an entire second month dedicated to replays, integration, and continued support. We’ve also added a wrap-up call at the end of the 2nd month to help you take what you’ve learned and actually apply it to your daily life. That is truly the way the impact of this course becomes lasting change and improvement in your pain and symptoms.
Recently, we also had several Pilates Instructors and providers inside the course who themselves suffer from EDS and or Hypermobility. I am especially thrilled when this course benefits them because it also carries forward into the people they teach. Education around Hypermobility is still pretty limited so having a movement professional who truly understands it can make all the difference!
Referred by Your Provider?
I’m fortunate to be connected with many Portland-area medical providers who regularly support patients with EDS and/or hypermobility, and a lot of my past students have found the course through these referrals. We’ve also had people join from all over the world!
If your provider recommended this course, it’s likely because they’ve seen the impact it’s had for other patients and they trust it as a supportive next step in your care. I’d love to connect with you on your hypermobility journey. Will you reply and share a bit about where you’re at and what you’d like to get out of a course like this?
The next course starts soon, and you can get on the list to receive Early Bird pricing. Stay tuned for registration to open very soon! If you're super interested, I'd love to connect- feel free to respond and share anything at all about your journey with Hypermobility and what you're looking to get out of this course!
